PRESIDENT/FOUNDER - Barbara Hearne
Barbara Hearne has lived in Cedar Park for 24 years. Along with her husband Jeff Hearne, they have raised their two sons here. Having Brent and Jackson both very active in theatre naturally brought the Hearne household into theatre too. They spent many years building sets, attending musicals, UIL shows, summer evenings on Zilker Hillside, summer camps for kids and Summer Stock shows.
Over 20 years ago she started planning weddings and created Barbara’s Brides. She has earned The Knot’s Best of Weddings for 10 years and she is well trained in designing, organizing, and motivating a team to bring events together. When Barbara had the idea in 2016 to form a community theatre, it gave her family a place to continue to focus their love of theatre and a showcase for the talented alumni from area high schools to continue to perform together. Barbara wanted to create this theatre company with the hope that families can enjoy a fun, free summer theatre performance in a local park. Here’s to growing the love of theatre in our area more each year.
